About Municipio I

📍 ⛅ Partly cloudy 20°C now

Municipio I is an administrative subdivision of the municipality of Rome, encompassing the centre of the city. It was first created by the City Council of Rome on 19 January 2001 and has a president who is elected every five years. On 11 March 2013 its borders were modified and it was expanded with the incorporation of the abolished Municipio XVII. Since then, all 22 rioni of Rome (the city's historic districts) form part of Municipio I, alongside the quarters of Prati, Della Vittoria, and parts of Trionfale (including the Eroi urban zone).

How we make money

These sites are free to use. Many links to flights, hotels, products and services are affiliate links. If you click one and make a booking or purchase, the company may pay us a commission. It never adds to the price you pay.

We work with affiliate networks such as Travelpayouts. We don't charge companies to be listed, and partners can't pay to change our tips or advice. Commission can affect which companies appear on the site.

Prices and availability shown by partners change quickly, so always check the final price before you book. Fares and prices shown on our pages may be cached and out of date.

Our money, energy and broadband pages give general information and simple calculators only. They are not financial advice, and we don't currently compare insurance, loans or other regulated financial products.

Privacy notice

What we collect

Other companies

Some content loads straight from other companies, who can see your IP address when it does: fonts from Google Fonts, photos from Wikipedia and Wikimedia, and partner search widgets. When you click an affiliate link, the partner and the affiliate network (for example Travelpayouts) record the visit so we can be paid. Their own privacy policies apply from that point.
