La Rambla | Drassanes (Catalan pronunciation: [dɾəˈsanəs]) is a Barcelona Metro station located underneath Portal de la Santa Madrona, just off La Rambla in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona. It is named after the nearby Drassanes Reials de Barcelona, the old shipyards that are now the home of the Museu Marítim de Barcelona. It is the closest station to the Port of Barcelona and one of the network's closest stations to the sea, and is served by TMB-operated Barcelona Metro line L3. The station was opened on 14 December 1968 as a prolongation on the line from Liceu once Fernando metro station was closed. Originally known as Atarazanas, the name was changed to Drassanes in 1982, then La Rambla | Drassanes in 2022.

How we make money

These sites are free to use. Many links to flights, hotels, products and services are affiliate links. If you click one and make a booking or purchase, the company may pay us a commission. It never adds to the price you pay.

We work with affiliate networks such as Travelpayouts. We don't charge companies to be listed, and partners can't pay to change our tips or advice. Commission can affect which companies appear on the site.

Prices and availability shown by partners change quickly, so always check the final price before you book. Fares and prices shown on our pages may be cached and out of date.

Our money, energy and broadband pages give general information and simple calculators only. They are not financial advice, and we don't currently compare insurance, loans or other regulated financial products.

Other companies

Some content loads straight from other companies, who can see your IP address when it does: fonts from Google Fonts, photos from Wikipedia and Wikimedia, and partner search widgets. When you click an affiliate link, the partner and the affiliate network (for example Travelpayouts) record the visit so we can be paid. Their own privacy policies apply from that point.
